Say ‘yes’ to Summer

It’s August 23rd and Autumn is exactly one month away. But don’t worry, there’s still time for adventure. Grab your bike (or one of ours), explore for miles on traffic-free roads, give your lungs a cleansing blast of crisp ocean air, and take a mental note of how many times you ask yourself “why don’t I do this more often?” If you’re hamstrings are burning for the next few days, even better.

Angel Island – 28th March 2010 from Andrew Butler on Vimeo.

Angel Island in the San Francisco Bay. Attendees: Again, Ross and Verity with the addition of Lucy and of course myself. A great day for a bike ride… if you remember to bring your bike… which I didn’t, or if you don’t get a flat tire… which happened. The hire place saved the day!!

A heavenly site

Holy matrimony! Angel Island is one wedding site where breathtaking photo opportunities are never in short supply.

Centennial Celebration at USIS

More than 1,000 people descended on Angel Island Saturday to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the United States Immigration Station. Many folks who were originally interned at the station participated in the days events which included speeches, songs and dance. The Immigration Station is open Wednesday through Sunday with docent led tours at 11:00, 12:30 and 1:30. Tickets can be purchased at The Cove Cafe.
