Online tram tour reservations available NOW!

One of the easiest ways to see Angel Island is aboard one of our open air trams. The trams follow the Perimeter Road revealing panoramic views of the Golden Gate Bridge, the North Bay and even Mt. Diablo on clear days. A recorded audio history of the island is the backdrop to the one hour tour. During the week on line reservations are available for the 2:00pm tour and on the weekends on line reservations are available for the 3:00 and 4:00 pm tours. Seats for the earlier tours are still sold on a first come first serve basis at the Cove Cafe.

Let’s go to the beach!

One of the best kept secrets on Angel Island is Quarry Beach. About a 25 minute walk from where the ferries land, this beach is secluded and protected from wind. It is also almost always sunny. If you don’t want to make the hike – take the shuttle to the immigration station then walk about ten minute until you see the sign pointing the way to the beach.

Weekends at the Cove Cantina

There is no better place to spend a weekend afternoon than the Cove Cantina on Angel Island. Take a ferry from San Francisco or Tiburon, enjoy the island and then conclude with a burger fresh from the grill or local oysters served raw or barbequed. Our live music series continues through October. Every Saturday and Sunday from 2-5 listen to some of the great local music talent of the bay area. The deck is a great place to relax or kick up your heels. Check out the music schedule under “things to do” at angelisland.com.
